International Mud Day is a global event celebrated annually on June 29th. It is a day dedicated to encouraging people, particularly children, to connect with nature by playing in the mud. The day promotes the benefits of outdoor play and the importance of hands-on, sensory-rich experiences for children's development. It also aims to raise awareness about the need to protect and conserve the environment. The celebration of International Mud Day takes place in various locations around the world, so our center will be a part of this event yet again with organized experiences and extra mud in the mud kitchens!! Children will have opportunity to play in the mud and immerse themselves in experiences, so pack extra old clothes, a wet bag, your gum boots, go bare foot or if you prefer you can purchase our waterproof overalls from the front office for full coverage for $30 ea.
